Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival

The fifth annual Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival will take place June 11-12, 2011, at the Old U.S. Mint, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days.

Jun 11–12, 2011
The Old U.S. Mint

New Orleans, LA 70116
Admission: Free

As in years past, the Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival will take place in conjunction with the Louisiana Seafood Festival and the French Market’s Creole Tomato Festival. The three festivals are collectively known as the Vieux To Do.

With three stages of music, more than a dozen food vendors, cooking demonstrations and a large crafts fair – all in the historic French Quarter – the Vieux To Do has become one of the major attractions of New Orleans’ social calendar.

BeauSoleil, Terrance Simien and Chubby Carrier – Grammy winners all – will perform, along with many of Louisiana’s favorite two-steppin’ dance bands.
